Chi Tung Buffet 2 is a great place for Chinese food. The dishes are delicious, flavorful, and always fresh. There is a good variety of options, so everyone can find something they enjoy. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. If you're looking for tasty Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Chi Tung Buffet 2.

First time back in several years and I was happy to be served a delicious meal just as I remembered it. The meat was fresh as well as the vegetables. Chef was very curtious and clean. Looking forward to returning again soon.

ChiTung without doubt has the best Honey Walnut Shrimp. I have eaten it in several different restaurants around Chicago due to my job and Chi Tung's is really the best! I do always order the sauce on side. Also we love the assorted appetizers for 2 or 3 or however many people..Yummo :) it's all good!

The best fried rice I've ever had didn't come from a flashy, high-end restaurant—it came from a small, no-frills spot where the focus was entirely on flavor. From the first bite, it was clear this wasn't your average takeout. The rice had that perfect texture: each grain separate, lightly crisped on the edges, but still soft enough to melt in your mouth. It wasn't greasy or heavy like a lot of fried rice can be—it was balanced. What really made it stand out was the depth of flavor. You could taste the wok—slightly smoky, almost charred in the best way. The seasoning was spot on: savory, a little salty, with just a hint of sweetness that kept you going back for another bite. It didn't rely on soy sauce alone; there was clearly a blend of sauces and technique behind it. The mix-ins were just as impressive. The eggs were fluffy and blended perfectly into the rice, the vegetables still had a bit of crunch, and the protein (shrimp and chicken in my case) was cooked just right—juicy, not overdone. Every bite had a little bit of everything. What I loved most was how satisfying it felt without being overwhelming. It was the kind of dish you think about later, wishing you had ordered more. If fried rice seems like a simple dish, this place proves it's anything but. When it's done right, it's unforgettable—and this one absolutely was.
